NFL Week 8 Monday Night Football: Rams vs Seahawks NFC West Clash
NFL schedule-makers had good intentions when they featured the St. Louis Rams vs Seattle Seahawks contest as the Monday Night Football prime time match-up. That said, the marque isn’t as bright after the Rams lost franchise QB Sam Bradford for season. The game goes on and kickoff is slated for 8:30 PM ET on October 28, 2013, from the Edward Jones Dome.
Seattle Seahawks: NFC powerhouse is getting healthy
Although not perfect, the Seattle Seahawks 6-1 start to the 2013 National Football League season has been impressive – and additional help is on the way. Wide receiver Percy Harvin may see his first action of the season tonight and while he may play just a handful of snaps, the speedy wide-out should be back full time soon. The Seahawks defense will be a factor here as the Rams simply don’t have the offensive weapons to compete against this elite unit.
St. Louis Rams: Will they throw in the towel or compete with Bradford out?
Quarterbacks are dropping like flies all over the NFL and there was even talk that Brett Favre might come out of retirement to play for the Rams. Favre quashed that idea and, with Bradford lost for the season, Kellen Clemens is next up on the St. Louis QB depth chart. Already somewhat challenged on offense when Bradford was starting games, the loss of their franchise quarterback is a crushing blow to the Rams 2013 NFL season. Get the white towel ready!
