Synopsis
After a plane crash strands a capable female employee and her annoying boss on a remote island, she must use her survival skills to keep them both alive, despite their challenging relationship.
This movie was incredible, I had no expectations and it still exceeded them. Classic Sam Raimi camera angles and the story was insane. It was really unpredictable and was very similar to Breaking Bad or No Other Choice, where you resonate and relate with the main character and watch them devolve into villainy and evilness. Linda was really fucking clever, and Bradley is so easy to hate, but I started to feel bad for him in the scene where they are around the campfire drunk on toilet wine. Also definitely didn’t expect the hallucination/zombie scene, very scary. The final fight scene was really fucking intense and visceral, when Bradley squeezed Linda’s eye it was so gross and horrific. This movie had me saying “What the fuck” so many times, I actually was getting shaky and hiding from the s reel when things got intense. What a way to start 2026 movies. 8/10
