Synopsis
The mixed-race daughter, Dido Elizabeth Belle (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), of Royal Navy Captain Sir John Lindsay (Matthew Goode) is raised by aristocratic Great-uncle Lord William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield (Tom Wilkinson) in eighteenth century England.

Je voulais une mimi p'tite histoire d'amour. Je l'ai eu, mais c'était tellement plus. Histoire vraie sur les débuts de l'abolition de l'esclavage et les débuts de l'émancipation de la femme noire au 18e siècle. La figure féminine centrale, Dido Elizabeth Belle, est la #reine.
