Anthony Hopkins remarquable comme d’habitude !
Inspiré de la jeunesse de James Gray, les tribulations de deux ados tête à claques et voleurs, dont les mésaventures, censées nous émouvoir, nous plongent dans la torpeur.
🎬 Ce long métrage de James Gray parle de l'enfance du réalisateur sur fond d'une Amérique des années 80 sous l'ère Ronald Reagan ou le racisme était un sujet et des faits biens réels. Un film sur l'adolescence qui nous fait réfléchir, mise en scène, comédiens, atmosphère, tout est au diapason. Anthony Hopkins au sommet de sa forme, Jeremy Strong surprenant, le jeune Banks Repeta irradie la pellicule, Anne Hathaway est une nouvelle fois formidable. La photographie de Darius Khondji sublime ce film magnifique. La bande originale est fabuleuse, ce film est un grand moment de 2022. 🎬 🎬 🎬
