Synopsis
Recently divorced mom Lauren and widowed dad Jim let their friends push them into a blind date, which goes disastrously wrong. Unsurprisingly, neither wants to see the other ever again. However, fate intervenes when both Jim and Lauren, unbeknownst to each other, purchase one-half of the same vacation package at a South African resort for families, during spring break. They and their children are forced to share the same romantic suite and participate in a slew of family activities together.

Deux familles : Une mère et ses deux fils Un père et ses trois filles La mère n'arrive plus à comprendre ses fils (adolescence, puberté, les filles) Le père ne sait pas comment aider ses filles (menstruations, changements du corps, les garçons) Si au départ ils s'aident mutuellement, par la suite cela ne se passe pas comme prévu quand ils se retrouvent en vacances tous ensemble.

Après un rencart désastreux, Lauren et Jim son tombés d'accord sur une seule chose: ils ne veulent plus jamais se revoir. Mais voilà, le hasard s'en mêle, ils se retrouvent en famille avec leurs enfants. Tous coincés et obligés de partager une suite dans un hôtel de luxe pour un safari en Afrique durant une semaine.
